Over the past couple of days, I messaged around a couple of local clothing labels to see if any of them would be willing to help me out.
'Sqaureone Clothing is a UK streetwear brand, influences heavily by music, fashion and street culture'
Squareone are a clothing label based in Leeds and agreed to help me out with some clothes for my skater to wear in my video. I thought this was a great opportunity to turn my idea on its head and turn in into a promotional video for the Squareone. It widens the gap for me in what shots I can put into the video, Instead of it being all about the tricks, it now leaves to me to think of a way to show off the brand. How can I show off 'Squareone' through my camera? What comes to my mind would be if we was to put a sicker of the logo on the bottom of the skateboard, we could then have a shot on the high speed of the board as it flips around when it gets in the right postion, slow the footage down to show the sticker.
I asked Harvey Wade (Manager) to give me 10 words that represent Squareone Clothing which would help with what content I have in the video.
