Over the last couple of modules that we did in our first year, I got into a good habit of keeping my models low poly. For this module, this will be my first character that I am going to be designing and modelling in maya so I need to think about a design that won't need a high poly count. The image below is what I found when looking for character topology. I couldn't get over how great and how detailed it looks with such a low poly count. I am only analysing this by eye, but me to the poly count looks extremely low and could possibly have be even lower.
