Now we have come to the stage of Rigging our Aliens. Rigging is something that I have always had concerns about as I always hear people moaning about it. As we were all sitting at the computers when Matt was going over it. I was able to do what he was doing as he was going along. This meant that I was able to get the rig sorted that day. On the down side, I didn't take any notes as I was following what Matt was doing. So when it came to going to do it again I had forgot how to do somethings. I now understand the importance of naming things correctly and efficiently. Before it was something that I never really did properly which meant if I was to ever be doing more than just modelling, things would become a lot more difficult. Now we are at the rigging stage, bad naming can cause problems when it comes to weight painting.
