Texturing Curley

This is the stage where I feel things start to get exiting when it comes to seeing your character come to life. Good textures can make average models look way above average. Poor textures can make an amazing model look bang average.  Luckily there wasn't a great deal of complex textures which would be used on my character. Most of it is skin and a patterned fabric.

Below is the UP Map for Curley. As you can see, the majority of the geometry is taken up by the same texture which I was easily able to tile over each part of the UV Map. The most difficult area was Curley's jumper. This was because I wanted to avoid having a big seem down the back of the jumper from the pattern not matching up. Luckily after spending a little while playing around with the position of the jumper texture it got a decent result.
