For our chosen story, we have chosen to create a character that is going to be young and cute. There are hundreds of 'cute' characters out there but the two characters below were the ones that stould out to me and would make a great reference.
From these two images of La Luna and Agnes, we can pick out features which clearly give them there 'cuteness'
- Big eyes, emphasising innocence
- Small button noses
- Small body in comparison to there heads
- Agnes's hair. Very baby like which the hair shooting straight up
- La Lunas hat/clothing, gives us an idea of his background
If we were to change any of these features on a character, it could easily change how we view the characters and what we think of them. If we was to change the style of Agnes's hair into something we see every day, we would not see the character as being as cute as she would be with a style that we would not normally see.
