Shot types

I came across this video on youtube and found it very relevant to what I want to do. Not so much the context of the video but the cinematography. I love the use of a shower depth of feel. To me it gives the shot a lot more character. Not all of my shots would be shot at such a low aperture as it will be difficult to control the focus with someone of a bike or skateboard constantly moving. Depending on light, I would like to shoot it at around f 5.6+. Shots where the camera is still or has a slight movement to it on the glide track, I could shoot at a very low aperture and set up the focus area in the specific place I want it for example if I have a shot where the rider is just coming towards the camera, I would set set the focus area to be at the place where he/she would land.

I really like the colour grade for this as well but I think I will chose what grade I would use when I know the location and I know the mood I want to create. This grade is very muted which suits the context of the video which is a grave yard. If for example I was on a sunny beach, I would want to keep it very saturated a bright. This was shot on the same Glidetrack that I own.
