Working with RAW

Raw to dng to Tiff. Could we have converted to something other dng? Could we have processed and exported sequences in a way which kept colours and exposure settings more regular instead of all over the place?

Could we have lined dng sequences up with the audio in another program and exported to a video file for editing instead.

File size. Tiffs increased filesize over dng sequences, however it removed the issue of not playing correctly in premiere and allowed to edit properly. The tiff sequences also run faster than dng sequences as the exposure settings are hard baked into the files.
